Your Hair Preparation Guide
A consultation is the foundation of creating a truly bespoke result. It gives your stylist the opportunity to understand your vision, assess your hair’s condition and history, and recommend the most suitable colour or extension method for you.
We’ll discuss your desired look, lifestyle, maintenance and long-term hair goals, ensuring every detail is considered before your appointment. This allows us to create a result that feels seamless, personalised and beautifully suited to you.
Book your consultation with us and let’s create a personalised plan for your hair.
Preparing For Your Appointment
Clean, product-free hair is preferred so we can accurately assess your hair’s natural condition and texture.
Freshly washed hair isn’t necessary. We recommend washing 24–48 hours beforehand and avoiding heavy oils or styling products.
There’s no need to wash your hair beforehand. Your hair will be professionally washed as part of your appointment.
Yes. Please arrive with clean, completely dry hair, free from oils, conditioner, serums and dry shampoo.
Arriving with your hair prepared correctly allows us to provide the most precise, beautiful result possible.
Absolutely. We encourage you to bring inspiration photographs to your appointment. They help us understand your vision, while allowing your stylist to tailor the look to suit your hair, features, and lifestyle.
For beautifully maintained, healthy-looking hair, we recommend a professional cut every 6–8 weeks. Regular appointments help preserve your shape, enhance movement and keep your hair looking effortlessly polished. Your stylist will recommend a schedule tailored to your individual hair and desired finish.
Hair Colour Advice
Absolutely. Previous colour, highlights and chemical treatments can influence how your new colour develops. Your stylist will assess your hair’s history, condition and existing tones to create the most beautiful, balanced result while protecting the integrity of your hair.
All of this will be discussed during your consultation, where we can talk through your hair goals and create a personalised colour plan for you.
Hair colour can appear beautifully different depending on the lighting. Natural light reveals the true tones and dimension of your colour, while indoor and artificial lighting can create warmer, cooler or deeper reflections. This is completely normal and is part of the beauty and dimension of professionally coloured hair.
A toner is often the final step in creating a truly refined, bespoke colour. It delicately enhances the tone, softens unwanted warmth and adds beautiful depth, shine and dimension. Your stylist will select the perfect toner to complement your desired shade and leave your hair looking glossy, polished and beautifully balanced.
Beautiful colour deserves beautiful aftercare. We recommend using a professional colour-safe shampoo and conditioner, washing with lukewarm water and limiting frequent washing where possible. Always use a heat protectant before styling and a UV-protective product when spending time in the sun.
For blondes and lighter shades, a professional purple or toning shampoo can help maintain the desired tone when recommended by your stylist. Regular glossing or toner appointments every 6–8 weeks can also refresh shine, tone and vibrancy.
Your stylist will recommend a personalised aftercare routine and products specifically suited to your colour and hair type.
Highlights create a brighter, more defined colour by placing colour throughout the hair, including closer to the roots.
Balayage utilises more of your natural hair, creating a beautifully blended result with a softer grow-out, while still achieving a high-impact colour.
Hair Extensions
Every head of hair is unique, which is why we believe your extensions should be completely bespoke to you. During your private consultation, your stylist will carefully assess your natural hair, density, condition and lifestyle, alongside your desired length, volume and overall look.
We offer a carefully selected range of premium extension methods, including Nano Bonds, Tape Extensions, Wefts and Mesh Integration. Each method has its own unique benefits, and the right choice will depend on your individual hair and the result you wish to achieve.
From subtle enhancement and effortless volume to transformative length and high-impact colour, we’ll guide you through every option, considering comfort, maintenance and longevity to create extensions that blend beautifully with your natural hair.
Absolutely. With the correct care and professional guidance, you can continue to enjoy beautifully styled hair every day. Your extensions can be curled, waved, straightened and blow-dried, just like your natural hair.
We recommend using professional extension-friendly products, always applying heat protection and taking extra care around the attachment points. Your stylist will show you how to care for and style your extensions at home, ensuring they remain seamless, healthy-looking and luxurious throughout their wear.
Hair Care & Maintenance
Washing your hair daily isn’t necessarily damaging, but frequent washing can strip the hair of its natural oils, leaving it feeling drier and potentially causing colour to fade more quickly.
For beautifully healthy, long-lasting hair, we recommend washing 2–3 times a week where possible, using professional shampoo and conditioner suited to your hair type. Your stylist can advise on the ideal routine for you.
Absolutely. Sun exposure, heat, chlorine and salt water can all affect your colour, causing it to fade, become warmer or feel drier.
Protect your colour with UV protection, nourishing treatments and colour-safe products, and rinse your hair with fresh water after swimming. A professional gloss or toner can also help restore shine, tone and vibrancy throughout the summer months.
Humidity adds moisture to the hair, causing the hair fibre to swell and disrupt its smooth surface, which can lead to frizz, flyaways and loss of definition.
To keep your hair looking beautifully polished, we recommend using hydrating, anti-frizz products at home. For a more permanent solution, we also offer Nano Keratin, a professional smoothing treatment designed to reduce frizz, improve manageability and enhance shine — particularly beneficial for those who find their hair becomes unruly in humid conditions.
Your stylist can advise whether Nano Keratin is suitable for your hair and create a treatment plan tailored to your desired finish.
Absolutely. Colder temperatures, dry indoor heating and harsh weather can leave the hair feeling drier, more fragile and prone to static.
Winter is the perfect time to introduce richer, nourishing products and regular conditioning treatments to maintain softness, strength and shine. We also recommend limiting excessive heat styling and always using a heat protectant.
Professional hair care is designed to support the health, condition and longevity of your hair between salon visits. High-quality formulas are carefully developed to address specific hair needs, whether that’s maintaining colour, restoring moisture, strengthening the hair or protecting extensions.
Your stylist understands your hair personally and can recommend bespoke products suited to your hair type, colour and individual needs, helping you maintain that beautiful, salon-quality finish at home.
Absolutely. Using products that aren’t suited to your hair can lead to build-up, dryness, lack of shine, colour fading or unnecessary weight.
Your hair deserves a routine that is tailored to its individual needs. We’ll recommend professional products specifically chosen for your hair type, colour and condition, helping to protect its health and maintain that beautiful, salon-fresh finish.
